OUR HISTORY
Cuaret is a leather accessories and jewelry brand that was born in 2019 in a workshop that was dedicated at that time to the manufacture of leather footwear. The idea was born from the need to give an important use to the remnants of this material (Bovine Leather), left over from the production of footwear. Leather is traditionally identified as a durable material of excellent quality and used by many industries. Currently Cuaret acquires its main raw material (Leather Scrap) from different leather industries and transforms it by hand into jewelry for women. We complement our pieces with 24k gold-plated bronze fittings. Our entire supply chain is 100% Colombian, as is our workforce.

OUR PILLARS
Sustainability: We involve in our company different systems that lead us to be more sustainable, starting from the recovery of a material that is in disuse (leather scrap) and that we transform into jewelery in an artisanal way until we guarantee fair payment to our collaborators. We also designed a packaging that is made with 100% biodegradable sugar cane fiber.
Creativity: we seek that our pieces are recognized as authentic and innovative designs, here all ideas are valued and celebrated.
HANDMADE
At Cuaret we love handwork, which characterizes each piece as unique, paying special attention to details and quality. Our artisan processes allow us to find in each product new ways to give life to intricate designs with a high value content.
DAYANA
Ingeniera de sistemas de profesión, estuvo involucrada en empresas de moda (calzado) desde el 2012 y encontró su verdadera pasión en CUARET. “Siempre he amado los accesorios y desde que trabajaba en calzado me imaginaba todo tipo de bisutería en cuero, en 2019 decidí crear una marca de accesorios auténticos y livianos. Yo me enamoré de Cuaret desde el primer diseño que hice y con mi pareja Juan José decidimos emprender en este sueño que juntos hemos construido desde cero".
JUAN JOSÉ
Especialista en gestión de empresas, profesional de mercadeo y publicidad, diseñador de calzado, marroquinería y productos en cuero con estudios en la ARSUTORIA school, en 2005 inicio su experiencia en el sector de las manufacturas en cuero y actualmente es diseñador de producto en CUARET. "En este proyecto que emprendimos junto a mi pareja Dayana, se han cruzado todos los conocimientos y experiencias adquiridas, logrando una propuesta innovadora y sostenible".
